I've been living at Medhurst for two years now and have not had a real problem since the new super has come in. For $1170 a month these are not luxury apartments anymore. The building is to code and kept clean, but there are some things that could be improved. The amount of time it takes for things to get fixed by the company makes the super look bad and my cat has caught about 3 mice in the building. All in all you can't live in many places in Ottawa that is safe and includes heat and water for this price. My overall rating is pretty good, dealing with repairs is a b****. Also the cheap carpet they put it soils after about 4 months. It's disgusting.

For Residents currently renting from Carling/Aaron Realty, Be aware. Their units near Medhurst and Brockington are not maintained and not up to code at all. We had mold and leaking problems and they do what they can to not spend money all their maintenance is quick fixes! Their on-duty super is an a**hole he is always drunk, drinking on the job and yells at residents for nothing. and the office staff is a useless as tits on a bull!!! we asked for them to bring the city in to inspect the mold issue and they sent someone from their office acting as an agent from the City of Ottawa Health inspection department. They are the worst, most absolutely worst Realty company ever! Their houses that are for rent are dangerous to live in and they could care less!¿
