BEWARE!!! THESE PEOPLE SELL ONE THING AND PROVIDE SOMETHING ELSE! I had the following problems: 1. Last minute changes made to the bookings I received an email few hours before the flight that my hotel booking was changed from the Hilton hotel to Al Shohada hotel. This change was never consulted with me and I never approved it. Also, the agent was not available after sending the email. I felt deceived. 2. Condition of hotel: The hotel rooms in Al Shohada hotel were very congested and washrooms were not up to the standards. We were told that the hotel was 5 star. Also, the shower door did not close properly and toilet seat had scratches/stains on it. 3. Location of hotel: We clearly mentioned in the phone conversation that we have an infant with us and we need a hotel near Masjid ul Haram. The given hotel was approximately 10 -15 mins walk from masjid ul Haram. This caused great inconvenience for us. We ended up having to pay locker fees at the masjid to store the infant stroller. 4. False booking hotel confirmation/ Visa problems in UK I received a booking confirmation for visa of my family in UK, but it was not accepted by the Saudi consulate in UK and this created problems in their visa processing . 5. Ahram kit We have never received any ahram kit (which was included in the package) even after reminding the agent several times. I also sent Fedex quotes to send the ahram kits. 6. Felt bound and pressured / Poor customer service After paying and sending my passports to the agency for visa processing, I felt that their service deteriorated. This shows that once they have received the money, they don't bother much with customer service.They didn't update me with any information and I felt bound to get service with this company as my passports were already with them and I had no other option. I've also contacted the owner & manager by phone and emails multiple times after my bad experience. But Mr. Mushtaq & Mr. Jamil never replied to my emails. They did not even bother to call and apologize for their poor service.
I traveled in a group that they created. We did not get the tickets until last minute and also they advertised that we would be going to Dubai in Air Emirates and then they changed the plan at least minute and said all the ladies will go through Air Egypt through Cairo. They also failed to change their brochure to reflect this or even put a reservation that they can do this. We did not have any proper group activities. We were promised a lot of things and they hand out a full itinary of the days but they do not even allow people time to go and see the places and do things there according to the schedule. They did not provide any badges or anything for us incase we got lost. They provided only one meal with the hotel. They did not help people that need wheel chair assitance. They did not take any care for the people in the group. The group leader also was useless. He did not have proper information on traveling also. I called them to complain also and they basically said that its my fault I should not expect any service from them and I went for prayer and I should concentrate on that only. If they are experts in traveling.....they could not even give me a straight answer on weather or not I need a visa to Dubai. Also the information that they advertise that you will get a day tour in Dubai. You arrive at 12 midnight and have to leave the next day at 9:55am what kind of tour would you get in that timeframe???? They also fail to mention that the visa and the tours that they are so called providing are NOT provided by them they are provided by Air Emirates. Lastly they advertise a rate in the newspapers and say they give better service then the rest. I would say the service was ok until they get your money and then there is no service....... THe rate that they give also was given in the newspaper was not proper. The say one rate but charge another rate to people. Some people were charged more and some less. It would have been nice for them to be upfront and honest about the details and explain things better. I pray insha Allah that Allah helps them to better muslims and treat their brothers and sisters in Islam better and think before they deal with people.
