VALUE VILLAGE - MISSISSAUGA, ON

I worked at this location (Bristol&Hurontario) in 2012. I left the company because of thsi location, while they did try to convince me to stay. I will tell you the same reasons why I told them that I cannot remiain with this company:

1. The Management: Unprofessional. They use crude language (I mean, dropping the F-bomb constantly, for some people), even in front of customers. They do not communicate with each other, which causes confusion and frustration for them and employees under them. They do not schedule breaks, and blame the employees when management forgets to send them on breaks. They do not prepare weekly schedules on time. One manager tried to convince me that I am not allowed to take breaks on busy days, and was very upset when I quoted the law to her rather than complying.

2. preformed an illegal action by using probation in a disciplinary way outside of contract (I will not go into detail, for their sake).

3. Poor training. They do not complete your computer training. You basically have to train yourself.

The exception to all this is one person: Sonya. Sonya, if you ever read this, you posses qualities that are far superior to those of the managers you work with. You deserve a much better position. I thank you very much for your professionality in the workplace.
