FOOD BASICS - KINGSTON, ON

I use to shop at several grocery stores in Kingston including Food Basics on Hwy 15 before the start of COVID-19, but after the pandemic started, I have become an exclusive shopper at this tremendous grocery store. I have a competing grocery store within walking distance of my home, but I purposely travel from the west side of Kingston to shop here. It is an anxiety ridden time for many of us, and I currently having a respiratory issue so I want to have an easy and stress free shopping experience as possible. I am shopping for 3 other individuals with compromised systems as well, so it is very important for all of us that health safety is practiced. At Food Basics on Hwy 15, all health protocols are followed with ease. I come for the wonderful fresh produce, the great selection of products, and of course the prices. I can always find selections of foods to please my pallet, and my wallet. Equally important to me is my reception at the store; I am welcomed by happy, friendly employees who work together to provide me with an exceptional shopping experience. Equally impressive is Sean, the store Manager who will jump on a cash machine to prevent customers from waiting in line too long. His leading by example, gives me every indication that he is an amazing team player. Thank you to all staff at Food Basics on Hwy 15 who continue to show their care and humanity to all their customers during these usual and challenging times. You make my day!
