URBANLIFE MANAGEMENT LTD - EDMONTON, AB

From my security deposit of 1,545/- an amount of 357.56 was given back after deducting Steam cleaning carpets, to clean suite, paint and repairs as needed, maintenance repairs labor. When the suite was to be rented to another customer, the suite that I maintained went on rent after first showing to a customer. That was well I maintained the suite. How fair is this?

They let is have a 6 month lease and space for our dogs... It was a dump when we moved in and a dump when we moved out. There is a space in the master bedroom window (he frame is rotting out so the window is falling out, no they have NO PLANS to fix it) to the point I can see the outside thru the frame. The yard was covered (and I mean covered) in dog poo. We were forced to move into the home and walk thru the poo. Why yes, since you did ask, the did charge us to clean the carpets when we moved out. Seems even though it was their poo it was our $$$ needed to clean it. Our dishwasher blew up and flooded the home and basement (the place where my antiques were stored. No apologies for the I convince of not having a dish washer for 2 weeks. Now let's move onto the drugs. A tennent in the area liked to use the basement to smoke up. I brought it up to them, they did NOTHING. WHEN I informed them that one person in our home is subject to random tests and should he fails this would then be on their heads, they took action, but ONLY after I suggested the course of action. (We used to be properly managers) Would I suggest living there? It is a cute property, most neighbours are nice. They DO NOT maintain the place. It is a dump. Along the lines of the New York Tenements. HECK NO!!! For the price there are MANY MANY MANY PLACES OUT THERE that are nicer and cheaper with (now listen up management team) "Pride Of Ownership" Stay away unless (like us) you DONT want to be kissed after.
