FOUNTAIN TIRE - EDMONTON, AB

I have lost trust in this Fountain Tire and can’t help but feel duped. We went to this Fountain Tire telling them that we have an error on our car and gave them the error code to diagnose. When they are done with our car they tell us that they diagnose the car with the same error as we gave them and said go to a dealership because they can’t do it themselves – but they still charged us. When we go to the dealership, and tell them what fountain tire told us to do, the dealership does it – only for that to be the incorrect diagnosis. So we tell Fountain Tire this and they tell us they will re-diagnosis the car at no charge. When they “re-diagnose” our car they say it is the same error again (which is odd because the dealership said they could not find it). However, the guy begins to use car jargon on us making it sound very believable. So we go back to the dealership frustrated. So, Fountain Tire has led us on a wild goose chase, and I feel like they took advantage that we did not know anything about cars and had to rely on them. In the end, we were given bad information, which caused huge misunderstandings and was very frustrating. Not a great experience at all.
