I think the schools are worth checking out if only because you get a bit of practice, but ultimately getting the experience so you can work at speed is just as important as knowing how to make 20 drinks from memory - trust me, I've seen plenty of googling on phone :) Fine Art does help with ProServe certification which is necessary if you want to get a job in Alberta, so it's worth checking out for that. http://www.bartendertraining.ca/city/calgary
