CHILDVENTURES BURLINGTON - BURLINGTON, ON

My son is 11 months and enrolled in the infant program at Childventures. I am beyond happy with the excellent service this facility provides. I would absolutely recommend this Childcare service to anyone due to the highly qualified teachers, nutritional menus, advanced dual curriculum and other value-added services. The teachers provide comfort upon dropoff and make my child feel special and I know he is in good hands. He has had little trouble adjusting to the environment as it is welcoming and structured. Even at the infant level, his development and progress is advancing by leaps and bounds. The on-site Chef takes great care in providing nutritious and culturally diverse menus, which broaden my son's palate, and he loves the food! I downloaded the himama app, which is a great value-added service. The teachers take pictures throughout the day and post them on what is essentially like a "facebook feed" that only the parents have access to through the app. Upon pickup, we receive a detailed outline on his day via email, which I find great as my wife is usually the one to pick up. Also, while I'm at work, I can watch my son through the live webcam feed which the classroom is equipped with! Childventures truly offers premium care and incomparable value.

My son has been part of Childventures Burlington since he was 11 months old, he is now 3 1/2 years old. I must say that Childventures has truly exceeded every expectation I have set for a child care. The teachers are caring and well educated, the facility is clean, big and lots of places for my son to have fun and learn. They do an online communication through "HIMama" where they send me pictures and an actual report card daily to my email/phone of my sons routine (bathroom, food intake) along with a very detailed description of the educational piece of my son's day. We all want the best for our children and Childventures is that for early learning. Thank you Childventures for the love and teaching you provide my son on a daily basis!

Our 11 month old started last week at Childventures Burlington and he was sent home on Friday with a fever. By Sunday, we were in Emerg for Pink Eye and green discharge from his nose. On the first day of class, my husband noticed 2 other children with green discharge in their eyes and nose. I overheard one of the staff saying that one of the infants was due for eye drops. No one mentioned to us that pink eye was a possibility. We also had concerns because we were not shown the infant room he would be in during our tour. Now that he is enrolled we see that the Infant Room 1 and 2 sleep room is shared and there are 20 cribs in one room. They put on a noise machine "to help the babies sleep" but with 20 infants in one room for their afternoon nap, I don't see how any babies sleep.

Our son has been in the Childventures Infant program since September and I must say how pleased we are with the high level of care our son receives on a daily basis. We were impressed with the healthy and diverse menu, the flexibility of following our sons sleep routine, along with having an impressive curriculum. Within the first 2 weeks our son was using Baby Signs to communicate his needs and wants. The staff display affection and support to our son and as well as to us being first time parents. Overall very satisfied with the nurture, care and education that our son is receiving at Childventures.
