ANIMAL EMERGENCY CLINIC - VANCOUVER, BC

I called to say my dog was breathing very strangely almost as if she was choking, and they said shes stressed and needs to be brought in to get oxygen, but she was just playing before and was not stressed at all. i may not have had time to bring her in as she could have died if it was something more serious. I asked if there was anything they could tell me over the phone, if i should to look in her throat or make sure she was ok somehow and they just said they cant give advice over the phone. Thank god my dog was ok after a cpl mins. They are also over priced and their "emergency" fees are bullshit. the 24 hour vet on fraser is much better and more affordable and they actually care about animals. Ive taken my dogs to both but after tonight i will never go back to the 24 hour vet on west fourth.. Terrible just terrible
