TREATED LIKE DIRT BY M** N***


In spring, myself and 2 neighbours ordered 8 yards of MacNutt's so called Deluxe Garden Mix.

Everything we have planted in this soil has turned yellow. It has killed off plants that were transplanted into it. Other plants have failed to grow. It appears to be very heavily sanded but may possibly have other contamination. I cannot tell because having phoned M** N*** on no less than EIGHT occasions I am still waiting for an answer or even the courtesy of a return call.

Calls 1,2 and 3 were not returned. On call # 4 I spoke to a gentleman who sent a driver to collect soil samples.

Calls 5 and 6 were follow ups to this, that were never returned. Call number 7 was when I said I would write a very negative review – this too was ignored. Finally my wife called their Victoria office considering that there may be issues in the Nanaimo branch, and relayed all that has been mentioned here. Call number 8, like all the others was ignored.

We have spent a lot of time preparing beds, planting flowers and veg and most of it wasted along with the money spent on these items. The poor product, the wasted time and money are annoying, however the fact that we have been treated with utter contempt and disregard by this company, is the worst.
