12/24/2014 First to Review My goodness, we are not usually the type of family to speak out, but had to warn other parents. Our two boys were groomed through the Jamie Platz YMCA program from 18 months to kindergarten. Unfortunately they do not have an after school care program. I found Lessard Day Care on the web and I have to warn all parents out there... This establishment has some serious issues that I believe all stem from poor management. For starters I don't believe they are even accredited even though that is what we were told at out initial interview by the owner Cindy. The run down strip mall exterior and interior has all the makings of a fire trap! When the kids do get outdoors they cross a parking lot to a chain linked makeshift play ground. My kids truly dreaded going there at ages 6 and 9 they are able to communicate how they have been treated (essentially yelled at on a daily basis). I am at a total loss here, the last straw was the owner telling my wife to "mother up" which she justified by informing me that she has friends with the Alberta Government? Not sure what make of this statement, truly bizarre... I hope I can save another family from going through this mess! Please beware!
