MAGIC STITCH & DRY CLEANING - CALGARY, AB

The male owner of this business is a liar and completely unethical. He sold me a product as in Kijiji and when I arrived I found a part damaged. He told me the part was only $10.00. We took the item home and looked again at his ad which said "NEW, NEVER BEEN USED. The item had been used, in fact the necessary part was ruined beyond use. When I went to purchase a new part the cost was almost $100.00 Cdn, not $10.00. Then the owner claimed that he only turned the machine on once and that was how the blade was damaged. Not likely! There was no note in his ad about the damaged blade. Again when I rechecked the ad, the item was "NEW, NEVER BEEN USED". How can this be???? I made the mistake of trusting this man when I shouldn't have. I went back the next day and politely asked him to refund my money and no surprise he won't. Is this the type of business man you want to deal with. Now I understand why his business has a 2.6 star rating. Avoid this place like the plague!!!! ZERO STARS!

We are very happy with Magic Stitch. Linda was a pleasure to work with, providing serveral options for hemming and bustling my wedding dress. The final result exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back for all our alterations
